Best STB 556 Loadout – Best Attachments
- Barrel: 18″ Bruen Guerilla
- Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
- Rear Grip: STIP-40 Grip
- Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity
- Underbarrel: FFS Sharkfin 90
The 18″ Bruen Guerrilla barrel is great for increasing the projectile velocity of this gun, allowing you to get that first shot, while also helping to control recoil.
To make up for the lost aiming speed of the barrel, the VLK LZR 7MW laser increases the mobility of the STB 556, but be careful as the laser can be seen by enemies when aiming down the sight.
For better recoil control, the STIP 40 grip is a good option, especially when paired with the FFS Sharkfin 90 lower barrel, which provides some aiming stability.
Finally, 5.56 High Velocity ammunition further increases the gun’s bullet velocity, ensuring you hit your target with one hit.

First, we chose the Bomb Squad for defense against explosives, which is very powerful in Modern Warfare 2. We also chose Battle Hardened for more protection against enemy lightning, stuns, impact wands, EMP, gas grenades, and fast grenades.
As for Bonus and Ultimate Perk, Fast Hands and Quick Fix will keep you fighting, but if you prefer to stay hidden, Ghost is another good option.
As far as equipment goes, Flash Grenade is very powerful and great for breaching areas, and you can’t go wrong with Drill Charge, which is also great for clearing out rooms.
