I’m going to list some of the local hidden spots that most wedding photographers don’t know about in the Las Vegas Valley. These are places I usually go to get some great city and desert photos that most wedding photographers might not go to here. Some of them are a bit of a drive out of the city and can be kind of a hike but if the weather is right you can get some amazing photos for your wedding album. Here are some cool spots that I shoot with my camera.

Best wedding photography locations Las Vegas

1. Owens Hill

A small hidden hill on Owens and Hollywood, its mostly where runners and athletes use this hill to train and workout. Great scenic location for the city. Especially for Wedding Photography.

2. Cornerstone Park in Las Vegas

Cornerstone Park is a local park that a very nature with water look. If your into ducks and animals this is the perfect place to go. You can shoot the water and you don’t need any permits to go here. Simple grass and some trees goes a long way for a photo.

3. Upper Pahranagat Lake

This is a very small camping site about a 1.5-hour drive away from Las Vegas Valley. It’s a very small lake with a mirage like island vibe. It is a man-made lake and it’s also a camping ground. Its on the way to Northern Nevada. If you are into outdoors stuff and you have a bride who is willing to get a scenic location like this do it! Just make sure you have the gas to get here. There are no gas stations for a while. Wedding Photography comes in many locations and far places!

4. The End of the 215/ 95 Belt Way Free Way

There is a hidden road if you drive up Summerlin Parkway, you keep going until the road ends you’ll pass by construction and what looks like a circular road like end and when you look behind you the whole city again. There is a walkway where I took this photo.

5. Dumont Dunes CA ( 2 Hour Drive from Las Vegas)

Dumont Dunes isn’t really hidden, but it’s a bit of a drive to shoot a couple or a bridal wedding. Make sure if you are shooting into the dunes you have a truck or a Jeep to go out there. Because the sand is soft, and you can easily get stuck. As a wedding photographer I always communicate with my clients to make sure they have the best scenic locations possible.

6. Dry Lake in bed Jean Lake NV

I got to be honest with you, I see a lot of photographers go out here for photos. But in all fairness its such beautiful location to shoot, the best sunsets are here, and you can really capture some great golden hour shots here. You can even do engagements shots, it is a beautiful locations and sometimes the clouds turn cotton candy pink.
