Perhaps the biggest announcement of Blizzard's 2019 BlizzCon Convention was Diablo IV. Seven years have passed since Blizzard's last appropriate entry into the Action RPG franchise, and the developers have announced the game. A dark and gory trailer that gives at least a sense of what to expect for the next title. Blizzard takes a darker, more horror-oriented approach with Diablo IV. It brings a lot of inspiration from fans' favorite Diablo II, including reviving old classes like Druid. It also retains aspects of Diablo III, including seasonal content and some adventure modes.

The biggest change is that Blizzard focused on making Diablo IV feel like a live service game. The Overworld is open to the public and you can expect to encounter other characters as you wander the wild and fight enemies.
