If you want to make yourself a treat even if you're staying in by the fire; these are some of my Best Halloween Cocktail Recipes!
This is going to be a strange Halloween for sure; to participate or not, that is the question. I've decided to 'sort of.' I've got bags of goodies for the kids on the street that I'll deliver to their doorstep on Halloween afternoon but lights are going to be dark here and I'll be left to decide which of these delicious libations to make from my list of Best Halloween Cocktail Recipes!
I usually make a new cocktail every year but I've been remiss this year, without an event to really celebrate and plenty to choose from, I decided to simply compile a list that you and I both can choose from.
I hope you try one too...and remember, that while they have been styled and included in this Halloween list, every single one of these cocktails are good way beyond Halloween...enjoy and Cheers!
Many of my Halloween inspired cocktails are of the after dinner variety. Each year, I dress up in a black cape and Professor McGonagall hat that I wore to a Halloween party a few years ago. I've got a bench on my covered front porch so I sit on outside waiting for the kids, with a turtleneck and a cocktail to keep me warm.
This year though lots of kids on my street are staying home and I'm immune compromised so we're all playing it safe. I am so close to the kids on this street...no, they are not afraid of me, even with that getup! I miss them so much. We've been able to meet in my backyard for ice cream cones but I fear this is going to be a long, cold, dark winter. I'm looking for my magic wand...COVID BEGONE!!
We have been blessed with some really pleasant Halloween evenings the past couple of years so it's always been a fun time to see the neighbor kids in their costumes; maybe just as well this year, we've been having daytime temps in the 30's and 40's and at night it's dipping below freezing. Hey, at least I'll be warm this year and no, I do not have to forgo a cocktail and neither do you!
There are lots of great cocktails on the blog if you want something seasonal or even Halloween specific. I hope you'll enjoy one of what I consider The Best Halloween Cocktails and as always...Cheers!
I actually had to be persuaded to give this cocktail a try because it combines pumpkin and chocolate. Don't be like Barb...it's absolutely delicious!
Add some oomph to the standard Kahlua and Cream and use Tequila instead of Vodka. It's not spooky, just a bit more bold.
This is a great cocktail all the time, combining vodka, blackberry liqueur, and Prosecco. Spooky glass and dry ice are optional!
Forget Kahlua and Cream and make this a real after dinner treat; Kahlua, Vokda and Vanilla Ice Cream!
Don't save this just for Halloween; it's a great libation all winter long!
This really is like sipping your favorite Fall treat...but it's easier than eating an apple and even better with a hint of vodka!
