If you've just noticed some weeds popping up in your garden and you want to get rid of them right away, then a post-emergent weed killer is for you. It's easy to use and most products work immediately in contact with the plant leaves.
Unfortunately, this type of weed killer can't be used if plants and vegetables are already growing in the area where it will be applied. You also have to make sure you follow the instructions on the bottle exactly, or else your plants may be damaged.
