Women can appear for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination conducted every year by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)

Bank Probationary Officer and Clerkship
Many women prefer banking and clerkship job opportunities due to high salaries, good working hours, advantageous leave benefits and better transfer policies. Currently, there are women-only branches for national banks in the PSU, which increases the chance of growth and employment with an added sense of security.
Indian Railways
The government has opened up several job openings for women, one of them being in the Indian Railways. Women get healthcare, residence, retirement and travel benefits apart from the well-known government salary. Apart from a basic salary package, Indian Railways’ employees enjoy dearness allowance and grade pay as well. Similar to banking jobs, railway transfers are accommodated according to the requirements. Also, one can apply for two years’ leave after the regular maternity leave. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has brought up many positions that are suitable for women.
