TriEagle’s SMART Energy 36is the first of three plans by TriEagle on this list. The energy charge is 9.9 cents per kWh. And like all of TriEagle’s plans, it has a low base chargeof $4.95 per month. Once you factor in the base and TDU charges, the average rate for 1000 kWh is 10.4 cents per kWh.

 What Is the Best Renewable Energy 36-Month Plan?

TriEagle offers a great long-term, 100 percent renewable energy plan,theGreen Eagle 36.Its energy charge is slightly cheaper at 9.8 cents. And after adding the base and TDU charges, the rate comes to 10.3 cents per kWh at 1000 kWh of use. Compared to other renewable energy plans in Dallasthis is really good deal.

What’s a Straightforward, Low-Rate Option for 36 Months?

Eagle 36also provides clear-cut, cheap rates for 3 years. With an energy charge of 9.5 cents per kWh, it’s cheaper than the other TriEagleoptions. And the average rate for 1000 kWh of use comes to 10 cents per kWh after adding in TDU and base charges.

 Be aware that TriEaglecharges an early termination fee of $20 for each remaining month on your contract if you decide to leave early. 

What’s the Best 36-Month Bill Credit Option?

4Change Energy Generous Saver 36offers cheap rates based on a tiered system. Its energy charge begins at 8.8 cents per kWh for 1 – 1000 kWh; then 6.3 cents per kWh at 1001 – 2000; and finally, 10.3 cents per kWh for any use over 2000 kWh.

This rate doesn’t include TDU charges; however, at 1000 kWh of use, you’ll receive a $25 bill credit that brings the average to 10.1 cents per kWh.

The early termination fee for this plan is $20 for each remaining month of your contract as well. You also have the option of  switching from 6 percent renewables to 100 percent  but that can  cost up to an additional $19.95 per month.

What Plan Offers the Cheapest Rates?

Constellation’s 36 Month Usage Bill Creditis the perfect plan if you’re looking for cheap electricity rates from a reputable Texas energy company. The energy charge is 9.5 cents per kWh with a $35 bill credit provided at 1000 kWh of use and a $15 bill credit at 2000 kWh of use. The first bill credit brings the rate to 10.1 cents per kWh at 1000 kWh of use. 

If you decide to leave this plan early, it will only cost you $99. Though steep compared to other offers covered here, compared to other plans it’s still a cheap early termination fee electricity plan.
