Story: Best Christmas Ever starts when the Sanders family Charlotte (Graham), Rob (Biggs) and children Grant (Hunt) and Dora (Villasmil) head off to Charlotte’s sister for Christmas. However, Charlotte’s big rival Jackie Jennings (Norwood) has bought out the competition in her.
When Charlotte ends up leading the family to Jackie’s house, the two families must spend the holidays together. Here, friendships get tested and awkward situations escalate.
Verdict on Best Christmas Ever
Best Christmas Ever is a comedy following two families coming together for Christmas. There is a sense of jealousy between one of the mothers to the other. However, over time they become closer than ever before and learn the real meaning of coming together for Christmas.
This is a Christmas movie that relies on the typical comedy that doesn’t hit that often. It does struggle to make a big impact on that side of things. However, there is a massive message that hits extremely hard. While I have never been involved in the Newsletter concept, it does show how united people can become through learning about their friends lives. In the end, this is a harmless Christmas movie that gets everything it needs without getting close to making a massive impact on the best list.
Where to Watch: Best Christmas Ever is available on Netflix now.
JustWatchFinal Thoughts – Best Christmas Ever is the typical Christmas movie.
