Are you looking to build the best gaming PC under 60000, but confused about how to manage your spends?
Stop worrying and start ordering, because I have curated the best parts list possible for any gamers on budget!
The PC built using parts listed here, would ensure you get excellent performance at 1080p with high frame rates on popular games. 1440p gaming isn’t a headache either!
So without further ado, let’s get started!
Processor: Ryzen 5 3600 (₹16250)
When it comes to gaming, the Ryzen 5 3600 may not be much better than the Ryzen 3 3300X that we featured in Best Budget Gaming PC Under ₹50000.
But, as more and more games will utilize the extra cores on the Ryzen 5, I went ahead and decided to use it in this parts list.
The Ryzen 5 3600 is a solid performer in both gaming and work applications. The 6-core 12-thread processor easily crushes rendering and encoding workloads too. This makes the Ryzen 5 3600 a pretty compelling option for YouTubers on budget too.
Overall, the Ryzen 5 3600 suits all needs of a budget Indian gamer looking for the best gaming PC under 60000, and allows to consider streaming as an option too. The stock cooler included is more than capable of handling the 65W TDP of the processor, provided that the case does not choke the airflow completely.
Graphics Card: Gigabyte GTX 1660 Super OC 6G (₹20000)
The Gigabyte GTX 1660 Super OC 6G is such a strong performer around the ₹20,000 mark, that I decided to stick to it from my previous build guide and use the money saved elsewhere.
The GTX 1660 Super has 6GB of GDDR6 memory, and paired with the TU116 GPU Core it delivers solid performance. It is my favorite budget gaming graphics card for this year, and it does well in almost all famous games at 1080p high refresh rates. You can even push its limits at 1440p!
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V 2x8GB 3000MHz (₹7500 Total)
Ryzen favors higher clocked RAM for sure. And even in a budget gaming pc under ₹60000, it is a pleasant surprise that you can afford a 3000MHz 16GB dual channel kit to be honest.
The G.Skill Ripjaws V 2x8GB 3000MHz kit is tried and true memory choice for a lot of gamers out there. It may not have the bling or RGB, but the performance is something you would expect from any mid-to-high end quality product, and hence I recommend it.
Motherboard: Asus Prime B450M-A (₹6800)
The Prime Series of motherboards from Asus has been aimed directly at budget gamers who want the best value and set of features for their money. The Asus Prime B450M-A, as featured in my own gaming PC that I put together, is a great choice for a budget gaming motherboard for the Ryzen 5 3600.
It has 4 DIMM slots, M.2 support and even RGB headers too! With enough PWM fan headers, USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and 6 SATA III 6Gb/s ports, it will handle future upgrades too!
Overall, it should be the go-to motherboard if you are looking to build the best gaming pc under 60000.
Storage: WD Green M.2 SATA 240GB SSD (₹3200) + Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD (₹3000)
Even if you are building a gaming PC under 60000, you should definitely not go with a mechanical drive as your boot disk. Hence, I recommend the WD Green M.2 SATA SSD with 240GB capacity.
You can check price and order it seperately here:
It may not be as fast as an NVME SSD, but you will hardly notice any difference in games anyway. 240 GB is sufficient for the operating system and useful programs, but you will need a bigger drive to install games.
That’s where the Seagate Barracuda 1 TB HDD comes into the picture. The 7200 RPM mechanical drive is nothing fancy, but not a cheapo part either. You can expect longevity and trouble-free experience as you look forward to expand your game library. Thus, making it a near-perfect choice for game drive in a gaming PC under 60000.
Power Supply: Corsair VS550 (₹3500)
I wanted the gamers looking to build their ultimate gaming PC under 60000 to have an upgrade path too. Hence, the decision to go for 550W power supply instead of the default VS450 that I recommend.
The Corsair VS550 is the cheapest 550W power supply you should go for. Anything cheaper will have either no efficiency rating at all, or doubtful reliability.
Case: Antec NX230 (₹2600)
The front mesh allows lot of airflow, and you add fans if you feel the components are getting too warm for your liking. The transparent side pane is not acrylic, but neither does the NX200 or any good gaming case at this price point has a tempered glass side panel.
It has power and reset buttons along with dedicated LED pattern change button, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 and 2x USB 2.0 ports along with headphone and microphone jacks at the front. It also includes removable dust filters for the top and bottom! Pretty fantastic!
I can’t emphasize enough how much I like this case. It’s cheap enough that you can still use it in a ₹40000 build, and good enough to recommend in a gaming PC under 60000 too!
