Gavitella Beach- Praiano
This quaint beach earns a place as one of the best beaches on the Amalfi Coast because of its west-facing positioning that leaves it sun-kissed until sunset. This beach is situated in the old town and requires you to walk down a staircase to reach the shoreline. Its central position means that you are close to the Marina di Praia, a restaurant and even a natural swimming pool that has been built into the entrance of a grotto. If you’re hoping for a lazy beach day surrounded by all the facilities you need, this isolated Mediterranean beach is yours for the day.
Spiaggia di Marina Grande- Amalfi
This grand beach in Amalfi offers picture perfect views from every angle and is the home base for visiting other nearby islands and beaches which can be done by renting a private boat or taking a small water taxi. The beach is in a prime location as it is footsteps away from bars, restaurants, and private beach clubs. It is amongst the most popular and busiest beach due to its size and can be easily reached by public transport. The Marina Grande in Amalfi is one of the region’s best beaches as it holds the title of being the largest on the entire coastline.
