Best Ayurvedic Treatment to Cure Infertility

As per Ayurveda Infertility refers to the biological inability of a woman to conceive at their reproductive age & also the condition in which a woman is unable to carry pregnancy till delivery. Infertility is also termed as the failure to conceive after repeated intercourse for a year without any contraception method.

Female infertility often results due to hormonal problems, physical issues and environmental or lifestyle changes.

“WHO stated infertility as “a disorder of the reproductive system defined as the failure to achieve a clinical pregnancy after 12 months or more of continuous unprotected sexual intercourse”

Pregnancy is a natural and spontaneous process that occurs when a couple is mentally and physically healthy. Motherhood is the world’s best experience and best gift given by God to womankind. It is full of hopes, dreams, failure, disappointment, and forgiveness. Over the last few years, our lifestyle is influencing fertility. An unhealthy lifestyle like smoking and drinking affect female fertility and had a bad impact on our reproductive system.

The problem of infertility is quite common nowadays due to lifestyle changes and it has become the need of the hour to find out a way which is less complicated & can be affordable by the common couple.

Mostly the cases of female infertility results due to the inability of producing eggs. One problem caused due to premature ovarian failure, a condition in which both the ovaries stop functioning even before natural menopause. Another reason for infertility is PCOS or polycystic ovarian syndrome wherein the ovaries fail to release an egg on a regular basis or fails to release healthy eggs.

According to Ayurveda, conception takes place when a healthy sperm and a healthy ovum, and a healthy uterus are there. In both men and women, reproductive health totally depends upon the healthy Shukra dhatu or reproductive tissue. In women, the Shukra dhatu helps to create the ovum as part of the monthly cycle, and in men, the semen is formed due to sexual stimulus.

Due to the long chain of metabolic transformations, the Shukra is created. It starts from the digestion of food, then goes on to conversion of food into nutrient fluid, blood, muscle, fat, bone, bone marrow, and finally, to Shukra dhatu. The health of all the other tissues in the body is important for healthy shukra dhatu.

Causes:

Intemperance sex – As per Ayurveda, it leads to ‘Shukra kshya’ or decrease of ‘shukra dhatu’ and can lead to impotence or ‘klehya’.

Inappropriate quality or quantity of ‘Artava dhatu’ – ‘Artava dhatu’ or menstrual blood is the name of the female reproductive tissues. If the quantity or quality of this artava is insufficient, then it can be a cause of infertility in women.

Mental stress – Ayurveda says that a person suffering from depression, anxiety, and insomnia can face issues mostly.

Food consumption –Delaying in the conceiving process if a person consumes a lot of spicy food as this increases ‘pitta’ and weakens the formation of ‘shukra dhatu’.

Controlling sexual urges – If you control or subside your sexual urges for a longer period of time, it may lead to ‘veerya-avarodha’ or obstruction of semen that causes a decrease in libido.
