Another image from my first ISAP event, this one from the Bell Helicopter flight test facility in Arlington. First flown in 2003, the BA609 was Bell’s effort for a civilian tiltrotor aircraft that started in 1996 and went thru several industry partners before AugustaWestland took it over in 2009 and redesignated it the AgustaWestland AW609. Nikon D70 w/14-24mm, processed with Aperture.
