A USMC Osprey makes a foggy flyby during the rehearsal for this years Fleet Week airshow. The Marines have been operational with the MV-22 since June 2007, gradually replacing the Boeing CH-46 Sea Knight which will be retired by 2019. The V-22’s speed and range enable personnel and cargo to be transported faster and farther than is possible with legacy helicopters. Nikon D7000 w/80-400mm, processing with Aperture.
