Story: Believer 2 starts as Won-ho (Jin-woong) discovers he located the wrong man in his pursuit of an elusive crime boss. It isn’t his fault as other criminals have used the name to gain control. However, with the real Lee searching to tie up loose ends. Won-ho goes in search of the real answers.
Now the battlelines have been drawn, it is who can get ahead of the other side before it is too late. However, not everything is going to be as easy as they expected.
Verdict on Believer 2
Believer 2 is a crime thriller following all sides dealing with different sides in a hunt for a crime boss. It follows detectives risking everything, other bosses trying to claim to fame and the big boss sending out their hench people to deal with anyone who gets in their way.
This is a violent crime thriller that picks up in the aftermath of the original. It looks to expand on the mystery of who is behind the criminal boss title. This keeps things ready for twists and turns along the way. Along with giving graphic punishment for anyone who gets in the way.
