Being a Dik Save File Location & How to add Save Files – Find the folders and add new save files If you want to play with the unlocked content directly

Being a Dik Save File Location – Game Data

If you have downloaded a save file and want to import it to play with all unlocked content, you will need to know the location of the save files folder. Well, there are two folders, and they are here::

Save File Location 1: C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\BeingaDIK-1535311494

Save File Location 2: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Being a DIK\game\saves

What do you need the save file for? Do you want to delete your saves? In that case you only need the location, delete the one you want, but make sure it is the correct one. If what you want is to copy or incorporate a save from another site or another person, look in the next section

Being a Dik Save File Location – Add Save Files

To add save files you have to delete the persistent file and copy the new save files in both folders, these are the steps:

1. Delete your own persistent file in both locations beforehand for this save to work.
   • In your regular folder at : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Being a DIK\game\saves
   • and  in the hidden location at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Being a DIK\game\saves
   • If you can’t find this hidden folder:
     1. Press Windows Key + R
     2. then type %appdata% into the text field
     3. press Enter.
2.  Now, Extract the Downloaded file from Patreon
3.  And Copy both the Files and Paste it into these Folders (Make sure there is not a previous save file with the same name)
4.  Done, no you can Run the Game and enjoy the saves

If you’re planning on deleting persistent file to reset the progress, make sure to disable Cloud saving as well. Launch the game > go to Properties > Updates > And check if Steam Cloud is ticked or not
