Verdict on Behind You
Behind You is a horror thriller following two young girls whose mother has just been killed in an accident. They are forced to live with their estranged Aunt before they can move to their father’s. However, the past has come back to haunt the family once again, leading to the race to survive.
This is a horror that gets to play into a legend that works effectively. It uses the idea of a spirit trapped in the mirror that wants to possess people to commit horrific acts. While it does take a while to get going, when we see the darkness and mirror checking we get some good scares along the way. However, it leaves a lot to the imagination and things go in a strange direction that doesn’t seem to make as much sense.
Final Thoughts – Behind You has good scares to cover up the weaker story.
