Verdict on Beetlejuice Beetlejuice

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is a fantasy horror following the Deetz family dealing with the undead character of Beetlejuice. They have become distant but a funeral brings them together as they must deal a new threat that could tear their family apart for good.

This is the long-awaited sequel to the much-loved original. It has some of the magic from the original, but outside of a few rewind jokes, it doesn’t seem to click. This continues the odd feeling of everything but doesn’t really do anything which stands out from the crowd. It feels like it will firmly fit in the category of, if you loved the original, you will enjoy it. However, if you weren’t that into the original, this does nothing to turn your head.

Final ThoughtsBeetlejuice Beetlejuice feels like fan service and nothing more.
