A while ago, I went to Roger Wilco and picked up a six of the Great Divide Titan IPA. This is another example of the great craft beer that comes out of Colorado with the likes of Avery, Left Hand, and Oskar Blues.

Here is what Great Divide has to say about their Titan IPA:

Titan IPA is a big, aggressively hopped India Pale Ale brewed for hop disciples. It starts out with piney hop aromas and citrus hop flavors, and finishes with a nice rich, malty sweetness that is balanced with crisp hop bitterness.

I found the Titan IPA to have the following characteristics…

  • Appearance: Amber with good foam and lacing.
  • Aroma: Sweet malt and hoppy.
  • Taste: A little flat and a little bitter.
  • ABV: 7.1%

This IPA pales when compared to the West Coast IPAs, but is still a very good IPA.
