A classic Twin Beech departs the 2016 Pacific Coast Dream Machines Show held at Eddie Andreini Sr. Airfield. In 1955, deliveries of the Model E18S began, this version featured a fuselage that was 6 in taller for more headroom in the passenger cabin. All later Beech 18s (sometimes called Super 18s) featured this taller fuselage. Known as the “Twin Beech”, over 9,000 of these aircraft were built during continuous production from 1937-1970. 202 are currently registered in the U.S. per the FAA. Nikon D500 w/70-200mm.
