A classic Twin Beech taxies for departure after a day of display at the Gathering of Warbirds Reunion at Madera Airport. Introduced in 1945, the D18S was the post-World War II variant of this aircraft. Known as the “Twin Beech”, over 9,000 of these aircraft were built during continuous production from 1937-1970. 202 are currently registered in the U.S. per the FAA.
