A classic Twin Beech on static display during the California Capital Airshow. A civilian model, this example wears the livery of a wartime Royal Air Force C-45 Expeditor flown by Captain Vic Hewes.  Introduced in 1945, the D18S was the post-World War II variant of this aircraft. Known as the “Twin Beech”, over 9,000 of these aircraft were built during continuous production from 1937-1970. 202 are currently registered in the U.S. per the FAA. Nikon D7100 w/18-200mm.
