A classic Twin Beech on static display during the Pacific Coast Dream Machines Show held here at Eddie Andreini Sr. Airfield. The smooth lines of the fuselage are broken up by a myriad of cabin vent ports, anti-collision beacon lights and antennae. Introduced in 1945, the D18S was the post-World War II variant of this aircraft. Known as the “Twin Beech”, over 9,000 of these aircraft were built during continuous production from 1937-1970. 202 are currently registered in the U.S. per the FAA. Nikon D500 w/Tamron 150-600mm.
