Mirins Copenhagen is an aromatherapy and skincare haven. Not only do they have a store in Copenhagen (which looks absolutely amazing and is already on my list to visit when I get over to Denmark, whenever that may be) but you can buy the products online too. Yay! I've been sent a few pieces to try and I'm loving them. Here's why...First up, the packaging; it's simplistic, minimalist and just downright great. Everything is handmade with natural ingredients, there's no preservatives or synthetic scents in any of the products, which makes the Rollerball perfumes even more special. The Lip Kit has been a necessity with the recent weather, especially the high winds. The lip scrub is gentle but effective and the rosemary and grapefruit lip balm smells lovely and really re-hydrates the lips, acting as a great barrier to the elements.
I've also been trying out the Face Mask Kit, which really intrigued me. There's serum and the clay mask, plus a little bowl to mix in. At 195 DKK (around £19) for 30ml, it's no more expensive than your mid-range brands. For other skin types, they have clay masks in powder form (ready for you to mix and apply as needed) for 110 DKK, so just over £10. A little extra surprise Mirins threw in were three Rollerball perfumes. There's three scents and they're all amazing. Rollerballs are probably the best perfumes to carry around since they take up barely any space and (probably due to that) are less likely to break. I've avoided carrying these around as I don't want the packaging to get scuffed, but I can apply first thing on a morning and still smell it in the afternoon, so there's no real need to top up. There's five different aromatherapy scents to pick up, or you can opt for them all in one box, which does work out a bit cheaper.Individually they're 185 DKK (roughly £18) each.
Have you heard of Mirins before? Are there any other Scandinavian brands I should be checking out? A massive thank you to Jane from Mirins for sending these lovely treats over. I'm sure I'll be back on the site soon picking up more!
