“We met at a happy hour. A friend of mine worked at the same company as Matt, which is why I was there. Went on our first date about a week later”, the bride shared with us.

“He proposed in May 2016. We had planned a trip to Italy for Matt’s 30th birthday and the first day we arrived in Rome, Matt proposed at our hotel. Matt intended to do the proposal on the rooftop of our hotel and went to the room to get the ring but then I had to use the bathroom, so I followed him to the room and he ended up proposing as I came out of the bathroom” the bride shared”.

“There are so many memories from our wedding and the weekend at Vignamaggio, but for me the best was the ceremony itself, walking down the aisle with my dad to Matt. “Matt and I traveled to Italy, shortly after we started dating, and then again the time we got engaged and it became our favorite place. We looked into many wedding venues and found Vignamaggio to be the perfect place for our celebration. We wanted to incorporate our Italian tradition, romance, and the vintage feel into the wedding. We relied on our amazing wedding planner, Rossana Sapori, of The Knot Italy, to pull off our wedding at Vignamaggio. She really did an amazing job at all the details and making sure everything we wanted happened”.
