Soft Focus shared with us a beautiful wedding video in Naxos and we can’t stop watching it! Ruby and Patrick had a relaxed rustic wedding in the beautiful island of Naxos and their wedding video captures every single moment of their big day and of the whole weekend as well! “It was actually a last-minute decision to have a wedding video created and we are so lucky that Soft Focus were still available! We wanted the video to capture the whole weekend including the drinks the evening before the wedding, the rehearsal, and even my husband’s water sports session the morning of the wedding. It really gives an essence of the whole weekend being very relaxed and one big party from start to finish. We absolutely love the way it’s been edited, rather than it being a chronological story from start to finish it cleverly cuts from the ceremony to the other events such a pre-wedding day drinks, speeches and the bride & groom preparation, slowly building up the tempo in to the big party”, the bride shared.

“We met whilst on holiday in Ibiza 7 years ago. Patrick surprised me with a weekend away to a private island around 3 hours from Dubai where we live. He proposed on the beach under the stars where he’d written “will you marry me” with candles in the sand. It was absolutely magical, and obviously I cried like a baby. For our wedding in Greece, we chose a very relaxed and rustic style; we wanted to allow the beauty of Naxos to speak for itself. The ceremony took place in an olive grove with the guests seated on bales of hay wrapped with a pale green ribbon. The surrounding trees had simple white and pale green decorations hanging from them which looked beautiful as they blew in the wind. We used small white pebbles along the ground to create an aisle and placed large planters of green and white flowers at the beginning of the aisle. The reception and party took place at Banana Bar, which is on Agia Anna beach. Again not much additional décor was required as it was such a picturesque setting and the venue was already styled so well with sea shells hanging from ribbons and plenty of big church candles. I love eucalyptus so we filled large glass jars with the green arrangements and used them as center pieces. We also set up a polaroid photo wall and encouraged guests to take pictures, write a note and hang the photo to the wall. The photos got progressively more and more silly throughout the evening as the wall filled up, it looked brilliant. We now have all of the polaroid’s framed and up on the wall in our apartment as a lasting keepsake. The best moment of our wedding was dancing with all of our friends until the sun came up”.
