Beautiful Symbolic Wedding in Naxos │ Maria & Francesco

We are sharing today a lovely symbolic wedding that took place on a beach in the island of Naxos! The couple exchanged its vows in front a beautiful arch decorated with bougainvillea flowers having the sea as the backdrop. Bougainvillea flowers were mainly used for the beautiful decoration by Eclectic Events Greece and blue and white were the basic colours used! Have a look at the following photos and get inspired!

The bride shared with us: “We met in Dubai. We were colleagues. He arrived at the company a month after me and we met at the entrance. He was entering the office (his first day) and I was going out. He is Italian. I am Greek. His birthday is on the 28th of October. I had organized a surprise party for him. Once everybody left we stayed the 2 of us and he said: “I know that I am risking because today is the day that all the Greeks said No to the Italians, but will you say Yes to me?”

“The ceremony took place in Naxos, on the beach in front of Santana Beach Club Restaurant. We had a symbolic ceremony. We wanted a Greek Island in Cyclades where we could do kite surfing”.

“The colors we chose were the colors of Cyclades, white, blue and the color of voukamvilia”.

“Our wedding was simple and elegant. On the tables, there were light blue and white linen table clothes with white dinner set and blue wine glasses. There were candles on the tables and small bouquets/pots of voukamvilia. In general, voukamvilia flowers were everywhere bringing out the wonderful colors of Cyclades!”

“The best moment of our wedding was when Francesco, with the help of the band that was in our wedding, the amazing “Speakeasies”, played the guitar and sang for me in front of everybody the song of Ed Sheeran “Perfect””.
