“I met George on his 23rd Birthday when I was 18. I was at a club he was DJing at! 7 years later he proposed in Atlantic City, New Jersey, the day after Valentine’s Day. After what I thought was a Valentine’s Day trip, I packed and waited for us to leave, and instead was surprised with a proposal. My husband had also invited my koumbara to be there for the special day and she surprised me at the door with champagne! We keep the colours simple with an ivory and blush color scheme. We wish we could relive that day. It went by so fast! We loved having our closest friends and family there for or special day. Because we’ve been together for so many years, it felt even more like a big family party! My dress was a very simple dress with lots of lace detail!”
