We are sharing today a gorgeous destination wedding at the beautiful island of Andros! The beauty of the island and groom’s connection to it were more than enough to convince the couple to have its wedding there and the result justified their decision! After the emotional ceremony, an amazing reception party was held at a dreamy location overlooking the sea! Rock Paper Scissors took care of every single detail and the couple and its guests had an unforgettable day! Fairy lights, rustic décor and yellow and blue details created a magical atmosphere! The bride shared with us: “We met at work through a mutual friend. He proposed at home, while we were decorating our Christmas tree. He bought a cute little ornament of a mouse with a backpack and the ring was in the backpack”.

“The ceremony took place in Andros at Agios Kyprianos, a small picturesque church next to the water. Our reception was right behind the church. George’s father was born in Andros and his parents have a house on the island where they spend half the year. I had been to Andros a few times to visit George’s parents and fell in love with it and it was also meaningful to George to be able to share the island which is very dear to him with all of our friends and family who made it to wedding”.

“We wanted something rustic and lots of color. The colours we ended up using were yellow, orange, and soft blue. My bridal bouquet had calla lilies with lilies of the valley mixed in”.

“We split up the space to create a lounge area and dining/dance area, with beautiful wooden dividers in between. The cocktail hour was in the lounge area which overlooked the sea. The décor was rustic, with lots of wood everywhere and pastels”.

“There were so many amazing moments! The rice throwing outside the church was unforgettable, the speeches were touching and beautiful, but I think my favorite moment was being on the dance floor and looking around and seeing everyone just having a great time”.
