Bit of a different post today - I thought I'd share what I've been listening to on my iPhone 5 recently. Now, if you follow me on twitter, you make have seen that I got Beyonce tickets. I know, it's a big deal! If you don't yet share the love for Queen Bey, then I will point you in two directions. Firstly here, then here. I don't think you can come away from watching either of these without thinking wow. Whadda woman! I've been listening to her Sasha Fierce album this week and falling right back in love. Bring on May bank holiday weekend!I've always got a lot of love for Frank Ocean. His new album is a grower, and I can still listen to his Channel Orange album over and over. Favourite tracks? Swim Good, Novocane (excuse the rude lyrics!), There Will Be Tears, and We All Try. Fast becoming an old favorite - Alt-J still blow my mind. I went to school/am family friends with the lead singer and I am so impressed with his vocals, amazing! I could probably listen to Breezeblocks hundreds of times on repeat and it not get old. I also love Taro and Dissolve Me... well, the whole album really. They won the Mercury Music Prize this year against tough competition and have sold out venues all over - if you haven't heard of them (how the hell not?!) then get on it! On a similar note (they also have a triangle shape in their name... tenuous link maybe) I also love Bastille; Pompeii has been massively overplayed on Radio 1 but I still love it!And finally, I've recently fallen for Miguel... well, his voice.
