Hi Pixies! With less than a week to go until Halloween you'd think that I'd be on top of my costume and that I'd had finished putting it together weeks ago... Well you would be wrong. I've been very lazy this year and have only just finished putting the finishing touches on my Harley Quinn costume.One of the make-up items I've bought to go with this look was Barry M's black lipstick which is one I always repurchase every October. Not only is this the perfect color for this time of year but I also find that it's a perfect fit for wearing to see the fireworks or if you just want to put a quirky spin on a Christmas party look, team it with a purple smokey eye and you're good to go.
So far I haven't found a better black lipstick than this one. Unlike many that I've tried before this one has a somewhat pleasant taste, whereas I found that other black lipsticks tasted of liquorice (which I hate!) it also stays firmly in place once applied to the lips and lasted around six hours when I wore it out to work the other day. I also want to say that it's fairly reasonable at around the £4 mark so that it won't be too tight on your purse strings!
