Barred From My Pal

He is tiny.
He is quick.
He is many things but most of all he is my nemesis.
He can put me in a state of alertness in two seconds flat with his high pitched chirping voice.

He is back.
Mr. Chippy, that is.
This time is he staying just far enough away to tease me.
But close enough so I can smell his sweet little scent. 

I have tried my hardest to reach him.
I just want to be his furiend and he can be my pal.
But dad someone doesn't see it that way.
I have been blocked, banned and barred...
