This album is rather impressive as it combines theater songs with some very well known actors to sing with the legend that is Barbra Streisand. I first heard about it on a feature from Good Morning Britain who showed clips of the recording sessions along with a very excited Jamie Foxx. Brilliant to see how much of a big star Streisand is!
I was so curious about this album that I went straight onto Spotify to see that only one song was available so therefore iTunes to buy it!
The most exciting track for me had to be with Alec Baldwin, as you may or may not know I totally love him! He doesn’t necessarily sing during it but his sexy voice works perfectly for the song they do together.

This has a great mix of all different types of show tunes and some very impressive performances. I think you have to give them all credit for the acting involved in the songs as well as the singing as it is certainly that type of album. I was very pleased to see it reach number 1 in the UK album chart as I wasn’t sure how this type of album would be received. It can be seen as easy listening and I massively recommend it for anyone who loves Musical Theatre!
