At the tail end of the year, we took part in Bake it for The Beatson, a fundraiser as well as a way for The Beatson to raise it’s profile.

The Beatson is a well loved and unfortunately well known part of the NHS to many. The center exists to enhance the experience, treatment, outcomes and wellbeing of current and former cancer patients and their families or carers. This is carried out by delivering non-clinical services and funding enhancements in cancer treatment, care and research at the Beatson.
This of course requires money.
The delicious looking James Morton fronted the Bake it for The Beatson campaign. The idea was hold a cake sale, host a coffee morning or invite friends for afternoon tea… Beatson Cancer Charity wanted everyone to get involved. Every cake, cookie, biscuit and brownie baked helped to raise vital funds for the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre.
We held an afternoon tea with a little cake, biscuits, some sandwiches and meat/crackers. This was well supported by our feline foodies! Thankfully the cake dome came in very handy as cat proof cake storage.
Interested but thankfully cat-proof cake storage!
Intrigued kitty hunts cake
Venison charcuterie and some sandwiches
Please donate to The Beatson if you can ❤️
