Bajaj Freedom 125: People are buying CNG motorcycles instead of petrol bikes

Bajaj Auto launched the world's first two-wheeler CNG motorcycle in the Indian market, the Freedom 125, in July. While only available in Gujarat and Maharashtra after launch, it is currently sold in 77 cities and markets including Delhi, Karnataka, and Kerala. Bajaj sold around 2,000 units of the Freedom in July. And in August, the sale (retail sales) of the CNG bike has crossed 5000 units.

Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG has seen a surge in demand since August 15. CNG is cheaper than petrol, more environmentally friendly, and because of its lower price, the motorcycle is gaining interest among buyers. There is no doubt that there will be a new momentum in sales if it is launched in other parts of the country. The company claims that the Freedom will consume 50 percent less fuel to run than a conventional gasoline bike.
