In just a few weeks now the kiddies will all be back in school and, as a guest author on the Farmer's Choice site I have created several recipes designed for those busy days ahead.   If your children are like mine they will be starving when they get home from school and these two dishes are designed to fit the bill in that they are tasty, economical and quick to put together.
Farmer’s Choice are an online butchers, green grocers and deli that deliver completely free range, British meats and produce to homes across the UK.

In the area which I live, there is a queue around the corner of school kids after school waiting to purchase fresh sausage rolls.  Homemade has to be better right!  Right!  Check out my delicious and simple recipe to make your own sausage rolls and have the kids scrambling for home after school rather than down to the local shops!   When you use a quality banger such as the ones available from Farmer's Choice the local shops won't be able to compete!

This simple and delicious Bacon and Rarebit Quickie is perfect to fill up those hungry tums when they come filing through the door after school ravenous and wanting something to eat now.  You can make the rarebit mixture up ahead of time and grill the bacon, ready to put together and pop under the grill as soon as the kids arrive through the door.  Just like magic, suppers on the table in literally minutes.   All you need on the side is a tasty salad!  The kids will love these taste tempting pleasers!
Not only will you find these and other recipes on the Farmer's Choice site, but you will also be able to purchase a quantity of the ingredients necessary to  prepare all of the recipes you will find there.   All the convenience of online grocery shopping with the added pleasure of supporting your local farmers.  Quality ingredients at a good price, British sourced and home grown.  You can't get much better than that!
