The summer holiday is almost over and you’re glad School has begun! Tomorrow your kids will pack their lunches, you will give them the last warning: “you better be good”, or “If you hate going to school, don’t worry, it won’t last forever. Once you’re done with school you’ll have a whole new exciting life ahead of you! Life will be totally different”…and the CELEBRATIONS for parents begin.
Batter:
1 pack of Betty Crocker Triple Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix.
Bake using instructions on the box. If you like, add Grand Marnier to the batter and the naps will begin.
After baked, cool down and make 4 layers.
Frosting:
5 egg yolks
5 big spoons of sugar.
1 box of Mascarpone cheese
1 table spoon of vanilla
1 table spoon of orange zest
1 12 oz bag of chocolate chips.
1 table spoon of lemon extract
50 pecans (chopped)
25 ml of Grand Marnier
Directions:
1. Beat egg yolks adding sugar until it is thickened. Add vanilla, orange zest, lemon extract, Grand Marnier and beat for 2 more min.
2. Melt chocolate.
3. Add chocolate to egg yolks one spoon at a time and beat.
4. Add Mascarpone cheese and beet for 3 minutes.
5. Assemble the cake by stacking the baked layers form the original ‘Betty Crocker’s’ recipe.
