There’s something so refreshing about getting back to the basics – a great tee, jeans, jacket, and boots are the perfect foundation for a comfortable and easy weekend outfit. You notice COMFY and EASY tend to be my choice words for outfits lately! The slouch tee is exactly as the name states and has a beautiful gold shimmer to it that’s difficult to capture on camera. Those skinny jeans are very stretchy and allow me to run around, bend, and anything else needed to take care of the little one. This black leather jacket gives any outfit that bit of edge. And these Skylar wedge booties are SO COMFORTABLE. Number one, they are a wedge – enough said. Number two, they have a memory foam insole. And number three, they are lightweight. You know what I mean about those heavy platform wedges – like clopping around in Frankenstein boots, ugh! Aren’t those nameplates on the back of the heel so cute – love the gold touch!
You’ll have to excuse the bottom of my booties. I was so excited to wear them this weekend even though the weather turned dreary, wet, and cold in Fort Worth. I was checking out a new house build site so they got a bit wet/muddy but cleaned off really easily. And of course, we had to take advantage of nap time to get pics so they weren’t dry yet!
