Back in Time…

Back in time…Long before we had heard of WordPress, or this whole blogging thing we used to write proper books. In fact this year marked the tenth year since we first “went into print”. For all of you budding authors out there we went down the self-publishing route in 2005 with our book “Fuller’s Guide to German Stadiums” which was essentially a fans guide to the 2006 World Cup, but because of trademark issues we couldn’t use the words World Cup in our title. It wasn’t really about the tournament at all, rather the stadiums being used, how to get there, bars and restaurants plus a guide to the clubs.

We were rather proud of it and it still sells a few copies today via Amazon. So when we found a copy in a box in our Museum (aka the office in the garden) we thought – let’s give it away to one of our readers. So we are. But not only a copy of the book, but also a preview copy of our Budget Airlines Guide back from 2006 and a set of three Stadium postcards we made at the time. This is a unique set – we didn’t even know we had them. I know they smell a bit musty but a loving home will soon sort that out. Damn, we will even sign them if you want.

So to win them all you have to do is email us at tbir @ gmx.co.uk the answer to the following question. What was the biggest stadium in Germany that WASN’T used for the 2006 World Cup Finals. Want a clue? Well, click here.

We will chose one lucky person at random at 4.13pm on Wednesday 12th October 2011 to win the prize.
