An office area in Port Moresby as viewed from my hotel window

Well, I was back in Port Moresby in June and, as usual, restricted movement was enforced by the office I was working with ( see my previous post, Port Moresby).  And so my photos of the capital city were taken either from the window of my room or within the confines of the fenced and heavily-guarded hotel.  I’m not complaining.  I have already admitted in my previous post that PNG is a beautiful country and my recent visits after that post indicate that there are, in fact, pockets or enclaves within Port Moresby where the feeling of security is higher.  This areas include some of the recently opened malls. And, since work schedule in the capital city was hectic, I couldn’t do much photography anyway.  Fortunately, there were trips to the provinces and, there, security was of lesser issue, work was a bit more relaxed, and I can bring my camera to most places without too much worry.  Here’s a brief series on that trip.
