You couldn’t have missed that Mr & Mrs Foodie have been away in Japan for a holiday. All I can say is that it was amazing and now that we are home we have a bad case of the blues.
Where is our heated toilet seats? spotless railway stations? Not in Britain. I never thought that a heated toilet seat would bring so much joy! Anyone we have spoken to who has been to Japan raves about them. I’ve asked Santa for one for Christmas.
Japan is nothing like I thought, its even more peaceful with extremely polite and helpful people and not expensive at all.
The Torii gate in the water was beautiful.
Some Michelin star food in Kyoto which didn’t break the bank!
As well as the what seems like all the worlds flavours of kit kats in the one country.
There was so much to see and do that we need another break! Just as well I found this Kuoni wellness holiday site! I’m between choosing the health spa and the discover and unwind!
Failing that, we’ll be at the Loch Fyne Food Fair this Saturday checking out some food, beer and chilling out with some beautiful scenery.
