It’s been a while since I last posted. I must apologize for the abscence if you were a regular reader. I took something of a hiatus from blogging to focus on my family (a new son, Kile Maddox), the holidays, and personal growth.
I have been engaged heavily in sorting out the Christian expression of the Perennial Philosophy. If you are interested in the underlying essence of religion I highly recommend diving into the works of Frithjof Schuon. His writing, though difficult at times, is unmatched with regard to the expression of perennial truth.
I’ve written a lot about the incarnation, the trinity, and other Christian topics that I hope to share here on the blog. Particularly I find the doctrines of revelation and reflection to be foundational to all religion as well as entheogenetics and shamanism. Reflection as I understand it came to me as a sort of revelation and is what I’ve always expressed here, at times clearer than others.
