Strikers and Defenders, rejoice, as there are now two fresh styles to pull for and master. In addition to the fresh content, you will also discover some updates to the old styles, as well as some new gameplay updates.
Here’s everything that’s new in the Azure Latch Beast update
Azure Latch Beast Update – Everything New
In the Beast Update, you will see some amazing additions to the game and fresh styles like quests, revamps, private server + gamepass, and many more. All of this and much more is available in the Azure Latch Beast Update
Barou Style Showcase
Barou is one of two new Mythic styles that were added with the Beast Update. You can buy it from the shop at the same 1.8% chance as the other Mythic styles. It is Striker-focused as you can probably guess from its inspiration.
Moveset Description
Chop Dribble (Ball required) — swift dash one way, followed by lengthy dash in the opposite way, well-suited to evading the opposition en route to goal.
25 seconds of cooldown.
Long Shot (Ball required) -long, hard shot to the goal. It is possible to shoot it in the air or in front.
– 15 seconds cd
King’s Path – Dash three times in a zig-zag manner. It is done both with and without the ball, and so works very well with the Chop Dribble
– if you shift your camera, you can actually move in a straight line at full speed to traverse even greater distances, although it will take some practice
Devour (Ball required) – release it when you wake up. If you pick up two defenders on the opposite side of the goal, you will have a guaranteed goal. Don’t forget you lose mobility after you take the Splash.
35 seconds of cooldown
Predator Eye (Teammate has the ball) – A steal play that allows you to steal the ball from the other team or from your teammate while they try to shoot the ball
– 60 seconds cooldown
Aiku Style Showcase
Where Barou is to Strikers, Aiku is the one you’ll want if defense is your game. It’s another Mythic style, so there’s a 1.8% chance you’ll get it.
That being said, if you’ve got one of your teammates with Don Lorenzo, you might find having both of these styles going is a pretty good defense against the rest of the team’s offense. Aiku is even a striker moveset, so you’ve got some variety to it every now and again (if you find your team’s strikers aren’t doing the job they should be doing).
Moveset Description
Serpant’s Sway (Ball required) – a backdash which eventually converts to a longer dash in one specific direction. It is helpful in evading the attackers as well as any steal attempts.
12 seconds cool time
Reflex Tackle – steal the ball from the other team when you get to them. You will also knock your opponent to the ground, which will give you valuable seconds while they get themselves together.
15 seconds of cooldown
Venom Trap -a ball trap to block the ball in the air. Get to the ball quickly if you’re near and block the ball there.
50 seconds to reload
Ultimate Defense – You may catch the ball if it is in front of you or above you with this move. In order to have any effect using Ultimate Defense, the ball must be in front of you or you must be on your team’s side of the field.
– 60 second cooldown
Former Striker – while mostly a defensive style, this move allows you to actually try for a goal if you find yourself in the perfect position. It isn’t a guaranteed shot, so use it carefully.
All Beast Update Revamps
On top of the two new styles added, the Azure Latch update has introduced some revamps to the older styles in the game.
Style Changes
Isagi Yoichi – “My Direct Shot” gets a new variant during Overtime; replaced the normal Flow
– Move It – new move
– Isagi’s flow animation – reworked
Kaiser – “Off The Ball” – during the dribble, you no longer let go of the ball
– New variant awakening – use it when the ball is mid air
Nagi – Some changes to the double press Control variant
