Weekends have become a 'get away and do as many things as possible' thing for me. It's weird because I've always been happy just sailing along, sitting pretty. Decided to squeeze in a last minute visit to Lincoln to see my little sister and pretend to be a Fresher again though. It was kinda nice to be mistaken for a first year student over on Instagram and IRL too! (If you're new-ish, I'm 23 and graduated over 2 years ago!)
Of course I used the opportunity to get chief photographer of the blog to photograph my Sunday outfit. Who else packs 5 tops and 4 bottoms for one weekend away, btw? Just me? OK... I couldn't wait to slip into my new faux leather skirt again, so despite a breezy day with beautiful October (read: COLD) sun, I threw it on with my Daisy slogan T-shirt from Topshop and then borrowed my sister's River Island duster coat. Those with beady eyes, yep, it most certainly does match my one here.
The weekend was pretty fun actually, shared plenty of gossip & travel news with Louise, met up with old friends and new, cooked dinner, did the walk up Steep Hill to Lincoln Cathedral, watched a wedding(!!), ate burgers and bonded with my sister's flatmates. Ah University life, ya can't beat it. Back to reality though and a week of Super Smash 3DS and the ultimate packing mission looms... Happy Monday little loves. x
