Autumn Wishlist Moodboard

Posted on the 29 September 2019 by Emily Underworld @emilyunderworld

For me, Autumn is the season of birthdays. All of my best gal pals have birthdays coming up, as well as myself on Halloween! Two of us are Scorpios, and the other two are Libras, which we all find quite funny and interesting. Anyway, I've been spending a lot of time on Etsy looking at cute present ideas for them, and I know my Mum will soon start asking what I'd like too... So today I'm sharing an Autumn Wishlist Moodboard with you.

1) A Sewing Machine

I've wanted a sewing machine for a while, and I love the simple design of John Lewis' range. I still need to do some more research to find which sewing machine would be most suitable for me (a complete beginner), but I love the little dog print on this one. (£119)

2) Hecate Candle by Witchcake

I'm a big fan of Holly Cassell's blog Witch Cake. I have her Aphrodite and Persephone candles, and I'd love to collect a few more. I'm drawn to Artemis at the moment (I even made a Pinterest board for her), but Hecate would be ideal for this season, with Samhain on the way! Holly's candles are £23.99 here.

3) Autumn Leaf Earrings

I've been very into preserved flower resin jewellery recently. I'd love to make my own one day, but I have far too many projects going on at the moment! These Autumn leaf earrings from ButtonsyJewellery on Etsy are beautiful. (£25)

5) "She has many rare and charming qualities, but sobriety is not one of them - Jane Austen"

I recently came across Bookishly, and dies immortales! I love them. I featured two of their prints in my previous blog post all about Feminist Art Prints, but they have so many cute literary goods too. I adore this Jane Austen jumper, it's perfect for me to be quite honest.

6) An Opal Ring from MoonMagic

I've been lusting after MoonMagic's beautiful gemstone jewellery for a while. MoonMagic source their gemstones ethically, and they're incredibly inexpensive compared to their retail value... totally magical. Opal is my birthstone, so I'd absolutely love one of their beautiful opal rings. The only downside for me is that I live in London, so I'd probably have to pay a customs fee. I'll have to save up for one... or you know, find a human willing to propose to me???

7) Lana Del Rey's Norman F*cking Rockwell on Vinyl

I loooooove this album. I collect my favourite records on vinyl, and Lana's latest release has quickly ventured to the top of my list!

8) Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass, illustrated and signed by Minalima

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is one of my all-time favourite books, and I also love the 1951 Disney film. Minalima are known for their wonderful Harry Potter props, which can be viewed for free at the famous House of Minalima in Soho. The illustrators also release art prints and limited edition redesigns of classic books. Of course, I'd love the Alice one, especially as it's signed by the illustrators! (£25)

9) "I would always rather be happy than dignified - Charlotte Bronte"

Another from Bookishly, I clearly can't get enough. I love the quote from Jane Eyre on this jumper, it's perfect for feeling both cosy and empowered!

Let me know what's on your Autumn Wishlist!

All the best,
