Today is a windy but beautiful day in Woods Hole. This is really the most beautiful time of year here. The tourists have gone back to their cities and busy lifestyle, leaving the people of Cape Cod to enjoy the tranquil beauty of their home. Woods Hole is a small little town yet it took me nearly an hour to walk through it. People were chatting, laughing, smiling and just genuinely enjoying themselves as they walked along the windswept road of Main Street. I stopped to have a chat with two ladies who have lived and worked for most of their lives in this town. During the summer months, these women would never stop to say hello even and yet now they have all the time in the world to stand around and chat.
It’s nice. I like autumn.
