Australia cricket team led by Aaron Finch arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday (June 1st) for a full cricket series (T20, ODI and Test). After six years time Australians are ready to play full cricket series here and they will commence the series with T-20 games. The first T20 is scheduled to be held on June 7 at the R. Premadasa International cricket Stadium under light start from 7pm onwards.
Meanwhile Australian ‘A’ team is also looking to play with Sri Lanka ‘A’ team series from June 8 and both National and ‘A’ team players have already arrived here to play their series concurrently. Australian National team will play their T20 match series on June 7 and 8 at the R. Premadasa International cricket Stadium while they will travel to Kandy, Pallekele for the third T-20 game which is scheduled to be held on June 11.
The first two ODI’s will be played on June 14 and 16 at Pallekele and then once again they will come back to Colombo to play last three ODI’S on June 19, 21, 23 followed by two Tests at Galle. (D.R)
