If you are a fan of the Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris, you know that Alcide Herveaux has a somewhat limited role in that we don’t see the goings on in his life unless Sookie is involved. When Joe Maganiello originally signed on to appear in HBO‘s True Blood he was only supposed to be on for six episodes. His character was a hit with the fans and as a result Alcide has a much bigger role than he did in the books. Manganiello keeps busy in the off season as well, appearing in films such as ‘Magic Mike’ and ‘What To Expect When You Are Expecting‘. He spoke recently with The Treatment about masculinity, his success and of course True Blood. You can listen to the entire interview below!
