Shakespeare In The Park 2012 - True Blood’s Russell Edgington, Denis O’Hare talks about how his show, “An Illiad” came about and more in an interview.

He and director, Lisa Peterson have developed a contemporary version of Homer’s powerful eighth century BC text.

The original narrates the events and stories of the Trojan Wars in poetic form. Widely performed in ancient Greece, it’s recognised as the ‘first play’.

Accompanied by a single musician, Denis is performingAn Iliad at the Perth Festival, and in Adelaide.
