Swiss luxury watch pioneers Audemars Piguet have re-launched their famous Royal Oak Offshore collection introducing new models for 2014.
The Royal Oak Offshore collection was first released in 1993 as an advance of Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak collection. Their aim with the new collection was to appeal to a more modern audience and make the watches larger for a sporty appearance (the 42mm case was shocking when first introduced at Baselworld in 1993). The Offshore collection also allowed them to experiment and be wilder with their watch designs, many of these have included limited edition models with celebrities such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, LeBron James and Michael Schumacher.
This year they are expanding the Offshore collection even further and have been inspired by the original Royal Oak Offshore models. Six models have been launched in 2014, each with their own personality and show-stopping features.
