Exhibition at the Musee D'orsay in Paris. This exhibition explores symbolism and mysticism in art. A very thought provoking expo which includes many famous paintings and renound artists (such as Van Gogh), unveiling some hidden themes behind there work. Though i must admit that i am getting very weary of impresionism - u cant escape it in France, its everything, they are obsessed and sneak it into every exhibition, no matter what. But this exhibition did make me look at the movement in a different light.
Not missing out on the opportunity to visit the rest of the museum, i was more than excited to see one if my favorite paintings (painting sets) of all time The Birth Of Venus by William Bouguereau. So if your in Paris, pop along, its well worth a visit and a ticket to the exhibition allows you free range of the whole museum so its a day out! Xoxo LLM
